This is always one of the first azalea bushes to begin to bloom in our yard, it gets a nice dose of afternoon sun. I took my 50mm lens out on Sunday and decided I would play around with DOF and find *something* to shoot. It wasn't long until I found this dew drop hanging from the bloom.

I played around with framing and DOF settings and in the end, when I was reviewing the photos, I liked the one I took at the very beginning. It's almost too shallow in regard to DOF. I wanted the droplet to be in focus, but I think there are parts of the bloom that aren't in focus that are distracting.
