One of our neighbors has a bunch of beautiful cherry trees. They live on a corner and the trees go from one end of their property to the other. I've always wanted to take photos of the "snow storm" when the petals start to fall, but never seem to quite catch it. I took a walk to their house yesterday to try to take a photo, like one I'd seen online, with the blossoms close up, from beneath them, and a beautiful blue sky above. Two things worked against me, it wasn't a very blue sky yesterday and I'm shorter than I thought! I only brought my 50mm lens, and the lowest branches were really too far away to get a nice photo. I've been trying to use my other lenses other than my 70-200mm, but in this case the zoom would have helped! Next walk I guess.
