High School Basketball (in a dungeon)

For the first time this winter, I took some high school basketball photos. So tough from a light perspective, but fun to expose myself to another photography subject. For this game, I went up to the "catwalk" in the gym. The "floor" of the catwalk seemed little more than corrugated metal so it was a little disconcerting. I didn't have my shoulder strap for my 7D camera and between the gym heat, a few nerves, and a camera with no strap, I was afraid it would slip out of my hand and land on someone's head in the bleachers below. I never did get a chance to go back up there at other games, but it the lightning was definitely more even shooting down onto the floor.

All photos taken at ISO6400!
And one photo of a crowd reaction from the gym floor. Too bad the Spartans didn't win this rivalry game, it would have been quite the scene.
